User Guide

Codefi’s Intelligence Layer is your smart assistant for navigating DeFi opportunities across Uniswap and many other Ethereum-based protocols. From discovering high-yield DeFi opportunities to backtesting Uniswap strategies and forecasting market movements, Codefi learns from you and helps you make sharper decisions faster and easier.

Intelligence Layer

This guide explains how to interact effectively with the Intelligence Layer and what you can expect from it for now. Codefi is in constant development, even greater capabilities and smarter features are on the way.

  • Discover Uniswap V3 Pools

Search for pools based on TVL, APR, fees, and assets.

  • Explore DeFi Yield Opportunities

Access yield options from leading Ethereum DeFi protocols like Aave, Compound, Lido, and +100 more.

  • Filter and Customize Results

Filter protocol name, asset symbol, TVL, APY range and combine multiple filters to receive even more specific and tailored results.

  • Backtest Uniswap V3 Strategies

Simulate liquidity provision strategies over a selected time period with customizable inputs like liquidity amount, price range, and duration.

How to Ask Questions

The Intelligence Layer understands flexible, natural English, but to get the best results, structure your questions clearly by including:

  • Asset name (e.g., ETH, USDC, WBTC)

  • Protocol name (e.g., Uniswap, Aave, Compound)

  • TVL filters (if relevant. e.g., APY above/below 5%)

  • APY filters (if relevant. e.g., TVL above/below 10M USD)

  • Stablecoin filters (if relevant. e.g., search for the highest stablecoin APYs)

Example Prompts:

  • Show me all the Uniswap USDC pools with a TVL higher than 5M USD and an APY higher than 18%.

  • Search for the highest WETH yields on Uniswap where TVL is between 2M and 5M USD.

  • Find me the highest stablecoin yields on Uniswap for pools with a TVL higher than 1M.

  • Are there any high-yield DAI pools on Curve with TVL over 10M and APY higher than 3%?

  • Compare USDC APY on Aave and Morpho with TVL between 10M and 50M.

  • I want to earn with USDC on Curve. Anything decent right now?

  • I’m looking for USDT or USDC pools, including any pools with these asset tickers, with APY above 3% on Morpho.

  • List me the USDT pools from 3 different protocols and filter them for TVL above 1M USD.

  • List Ethereum pools currently available on Aave.

  • Explore ETH pools on Aave with a TVL above 5M USD and an APY higher than 8%.

Important:

For now, when asking for yield opportunities, users must specify the protocol name (e.g., Aave, Compound, Uniswap and +100 other Ethereum DeFi protocols) - asking "highest APY for ETH" without mentioning a protocol may not return proper results yet. You can combine filters (asset, protocol, TVL, APY) and experiment with specific queries for more tailored results.

Best Practices for Getting the Most Accurate Results

  • Be specific: Mention asset names (ETH, USDC), protocol names (Aave, Compound), and filters (TVL, APY) when possible.

  • Keep your sentences simple but clear.

  • Try a few variations if you don’t get the perfect answer for the first time.

  • Use keywords like “TVL higher than”, “APY above”, “between X and Y”, etc.

  • Ask about one asset and one protocol at a time for yield queries.

  • Feel free to combine different filters (asset, protocol, TVL, APY) to narrow down your results. You can experiment with specific directions in your queries and the chatbot will merge them and provide answers based on your needs.

Tips for Exploring DeFi Opportunities

  • Try combining filters: Instead of just TVL or APY, you can ask for "USDC pools with TVL > 5M USD and APY > 20%."

  • Test strategy ideas: Use the Uniswap backtest tool to experiment with different liquidity amounts, price ranges, and durations.

  • Think about risks: Higher APY often means higher risk. Use TVL as an additional filter to prioritize more secure pools.

Your journey into smarter DeFi starts here. Ask, explore, test, and optimize - all with the Codefi Intelligence Layer by your side.
